Joe Burrow should have lots of reasons to feel good about one of his targets heading into the 2026 NFL season.
Fox Sports has named Cincinnati Bengals wide receiver Ja’Marr Chase the fourth best player in the NFL, putting him ahead of some of the biggest names in the league. Considering what Chase has done since entering the NFL, it’s hard to argue with the ranking.
Chase has really established himself as one of the most dominant wide receivers. He just keeps finding ways to produce, too. Just look at last season. HE once again led the NFL in receptions, finishing with 185. That’s a ridiculous number. Yet defenses still haven’t been able to slow him down.
The 26-year-old has recorded at least 1,000 receiving yards in each of his first five NFL seasons. Since going pro, Chase has quickly become one of the most reliable weapons in the league. He’s a delight to watch every week. That’s only if you’re a Bengals fan, though. Other teams don’t like to watch him score.
Chase has faced constant double teams since entering the league, but that hasn’t stopped him from becoming a near-unstoppable force. For Burrow and the Bengals, having a player like Chase is obviously a major advantage. He’s someone defenses have to account for on every play, and he’s continued to produce even when opponents make stopping him a priority.
Now Fox Sports has placed Chase among the very best players in the entire NFL. He’s not just being recognized as one of the league’s top receivers. He’s being recognized as one of its top players, period.
