Within the framework of the Luxury Awards Asia Pacific 2026 organized by the travel magazine Travel + Leisure (USA), 10 resorts in Vietnam were included in the "Best Beach + Island Resorts" list, a category honoring the leading beach and island resorts in the Asia-Pacific region.
According to Travel + Leisure , Vietnam's hotel and resort industry continues to assert its position in the region's high-end segment. Domestic resorts are highly regarded for their innovative designs, harmony with nature, focus on providing a multi-generational resort experience, and increasing interest from international visitors.
The list of nominees is selected by the magazine's editors and experts, and then a public vote is opened for readers to decide the final results. The awards are based on visitor satisfaction, service quality, and overall experience at each destination.
Regent Phu Quoc
This resort, which opened in late 2021, comprises 302 ocean-facing suites and villas. The contemporary design incorporates Vietnamese cultural details, with private pools featured in many room categories.
Travel + Leisure considers this one of the most luxurious resorts in Phu Quoc today. Besides its restaurants, bars, and spa, the resort also stands out with experiences such as private yachting, crystal bell sound therapy, and the Japanese restaurant Oku.
InterContinental Danang Sun Peninsula Resort
Nestled within the Son Tra Nature Reserve, the resort, designed by architect Bill Bensley, features 201 rooms, suites, and villas spread across the hillside overlooking the sea.
The project draws inspiration from traditional Vietnamese architecture, combining elements of royal palaces, rural villages, and temples. A highlight is La Maison 1888 restaurant – the first restaurant in Da Nang to be awarded a Michelin star.
JW Marriott Cam Ranh Bay Resort & Spa
This is the newest addition to the list, officially opening in 2025. Located near Cam Ranh Airport, the resort boasts 203 hotel rooms and villas.

Its vibrant colors and prime location on Khem Beach have consistently earned it international resort rankings.
Six Senses Ninh Van Bay
Completely isolated from the mainland and accessible only by sea, Six Senses Ninh Van Bay is one of Vietnam's most renowned resorts in the luxury eco-resort segment.
The resort comprises 62 villas with private pools, utilizing many local materials. This year, Six Senses Ninh Van Bay also topped the category for the most beautiful swimming pools and ranked third in the category for the best spa in Asia-Pacific.
Hyatt Regency Danang Resort and Spa

In addition to activities such as kayaking, snorkeling, and yoga on the beach, the resort is also known for its exclusive Club InterContinental Lounge and a system of swimming pools designed to accommodate various groups of guests.
Villa Le Corail, A Gran Meliá Hotel
Rounding out the list is Villa Le Corail, a resort located on the Hon Heo peninsula with private pool villas overlooking the sea.
The resort combines contemporary architecture with the distinctive coastal landscape of South Central Vietnam. Its open spaces, bay views, and restaurants serving Vietnamese and Mediterranean cuisine are factors that have helped it continue to be included in this year's ranking.
